史丹利實習引水人

《Prelude: 》
Stanley’s Adventure is the home work of my nephew Mikey, and today Stanley ’s adventure is as a training harbor pilot in Kaohsiung harbor, Taiwan .
前言：
史丹利遊記是小麥的家庭作業，今天史丹利的工作是當高雄港的引水人見習生。
今天我們要去的船是陽明公司的大型貨櫃船，船名是＂鮮明輪＂乍看之下，以為是到了日本生魚片料理店。
Today we wrer going to sail a Yang-Ming huge container ship for Sea Trial. The ship's name is "YM MASCULINITY" 。
試俥就是船造好後，先行在海上試行運轉，以確定船舶各方面都能逹到船東的要求，以及符合船級協會的安全規範。
A Sea Trail is a testing manovering at sea before ship deliver to the owner, to ensure to satisfy the owner's specifications and the class regulation's requirements in all aspects.
Stanley came alongside to the ship for sea trial. 史丹利來到要出海試俥的船旁。

Stanely checked the propeller of the big ship..史丹利先檢查大船的螺旋漿。
Stanley was standing on the deck of a a floated gate of the shipyard's dock. 史丹利站在船塢閘門甲板上。
Stanley overlooked a underbuilding new huge Evergreen's ship inside the dry dock.
史丹利向下看一艘正在乾塢中，新造的長榮公司的巨型貨櫃輪。
Stanley checked the approval of Ship's Sea Trail..史丹利檢查了大船試俥許可單。
Onboard the ship, location: Bridge. 上船了，在駕駛台船邊。
史丹利進入駕駛台內，開始開船出港。Stanley standed on the bridge to sail the ship .
拖船開始推頂大船轉向。Tug pushig to swing the ship.
Disembarked the ship, on a pilot boat. 史丹利從大船下來到了小艇上。
Ｓtanley and the Kaohsiung Harbor VTC tower..( Vessel Traffic Control )
off the pilot boat, heading to home now.
我和史丹利把新船開出港口，下了小艇，我們就要回高雄的住處了。 I and Stanley had sailed the new ship out of the harbor, and after got off the pilot boat we were bound to home.
Super cool!!!
Kevin and I are giggling and laughing the whole time!! Mikey is going to love this when he wakes up tomorrow morning and see Stanley's new adventure!!!

I have asked the shipyards chief pilot, he promised that next time if Kevin back to Taiwan, he should arrange one day tour in the shipyard...

[版主回覆04/13/2012 10:40:26]台灣所有的外甥和外甥女我都從小帶到大出去玩，唯獨美國二個沒有帶到，有這次的機會，當然做舅舅的義不容辭要好好表現一番。一個.如此可愛的史丹利，其原型就深具創意
又讓人看到專業與可愛，僅是一趟引水歷程，其實學問高深。

學問高深一點兒也不敢當，很久很夕以前在上海，就遇見文革時期失學同年齡的修船廠的帶船人，穿著背心、短褲和拖鞋，一樣把大船在黃埔江裡開的穏穏當當；那時候我才領悟，凡事熟了就通了，讀萬卷書真不如行萬里路。
The cartoon Stanley is very funny
Through his guiding, we can able to see the whole picture for harbor pilot.
I think the daily job for the pilot is rather interesting
When I read the stories always about the harbor pilot, I can feel that Brother Tian Tian has enjoyed this very much.
Harbor pilot is also the courtesy ambassador for Taiwan, because you are the first man of the foreigners have met.

I hav e no idea about Stanley, only Dennis the manence...
Daily job is indeed interesting but if it is a job it should always take all means to keep in good physical condition.....
Pilot in some way is the first welcome wagon for visitors, as you mentioned, so I require myself to build up a wide range vacabulary of English, not a narrow-limited terminology of seaman.
So I can manage many different English joke...hahaha

Yes, right. Being the harbor pilot must keep in good physical condition.
So. this is why you always keep running and go to join the Marathon very often.
The advantages for Marathon have 2 aspects: one for your interest, another is to keep fit for your harbor pilot requirement.
I remember your English jokes always, especially " The old electrician who has negotiated with the hotel manager for changing the rooms ...... One by one！"
Brother Tian Tian, we look forward to hearing more jokes for seaman, however they are in English or in Chinese.

Marathon is also a moving meditation, when one concentrated in just keep running, one was in a self-encourage process which would be very helpful whenever we would be dispressed or be discouraged.
